Its been a long time...

Its been a very long time folks. I know but the mission has not been laxed, not for one minute. Let's get to the numbers and i started out this journey at 485lbs and i made a promise to myself that i will try harder to get some weight off to create a better me. I also promised myself that i would take it slow, steady, get support group help if i needed it and re-train my brain to make better food, exercise and life choices.

As everyone knows this takes a lot of work and dedication to your mission in life no matter what you are trying to accomplish in life. So i held on strong to staying below 485lbs, got down to 440lbs then went back up to 450lbs where i stayed for quite some time. Which i would say is damn good. In this entire year i have never seen the scale back anywhere near 47? - 485 or more. Yay, Me...

So the numbers as they stand now is as follows. I am now 417.6lbs. Yes, i know, i am finally going in the right direction here for a change. Its a full time job just getting through the day dedicating yourself to what you want your goal to be and that is being healthier, lighter and more outgoing than i am already. I have to say that taking in less food through portion control and using liquid and bar protein supplements helped so much keeping me fuller longer.

So what's new, I co-organize a meetup.com group now and constantly organizing meetups that not only helps me but the group also. The more i incorporate more activities into my life the better. Its the little things and its the things that you have to promise yourself to stick to and you must do it all slow or it will never be a staple.

I still walk around when i can but i bowl more often now and i play my WII more often now. All these little changes plus portion control is making it happen but it is never easy and you have to be on top of it constantly. Signing up to support groups in local hospitals for people who need help in this matter is another approach utilized to continue my journey, keep my faith and gives me the strength to continue and that also includes family.

Lets continue to to make me better... Till next time folks.
