Time for some more weight reflections. Okay so now its October, 2010 and i just finished celebrating my 34th birthday this past sunday. How wonderful it was to wake up and only be *drum rolls* "452.2 lbs" on my birthday. Well alright now, just had to run up and down the apartment naked for that one. Let me think, that makes how much down now? ahhh, -32.8.. Nice work i have to say and you have to be glad its not 485 anymore.
It maybe slow but i don't care. Am i doing the work and making sure that i account for what goes in this mouth? yes. I have definitely been moving more and the difference is in the jeans. I went bowling on Monday and my damn pants were falling off my bum, I am happy about that. As for the other component of the weight loss game and that's mental, I have been reading information and strategies of little changes to implement to stay on track here. I started to keep a food diary, which i have done before but decided to start up again. I am sure this will help and i have to remember that no matter what i have to make good choices one at a time.
You know what strategy i have been using that has been working, when i go out to eat with friends i split my meal with someone. What i realized is that my body didn't require all that dang on food it was just use to partaking in the "clean your plate game".
The other strategy i have been using is that when i have a craving for ice cream i have it but other times i just have a bowl of cereal with milk and then i would be fine. I realized that i wasn't getting enough dairy during the day and when i got more in then the ice cream wasn't craved. I am proud to say that ice cream has no longer been an often thing as well as those Chinese food meals.
On another note i went to Costco's and brought veggies and nuts and fruit and tuna packs where its convenient and quick and accessible. I had a bad problem with the prep for eating daily and i have come to realize that its important and you can't get caught out there without preparing yourself for eating.
So i still go to nutrition meetings at a local hospital near my job every month, its free and lots of people like myself are their to soak up the information. Its here where i learn a lot of good information and new products that helps weight loss and not work against it.
Time to hit the school work, till next time keep being a loser with me... Haaa lol.
